Walking and hiking in Austria
Hiking in SalzburgerLand
Salzburg's mountains are truly magnificent and the Alpina is right in their midst – which makes us the perfect starting point for any alpine activity. Whether on a leisurely hike through alpine pastures or a challenging mountain tour - our hiking guides will take you to sites of unparalleled natural beauty. Experience the mountains up close and feel how the alpine-fresh, clear air takes you to new highs. Ask about our most popular picnic hike – to the Hohe Tauern National Park!
And for those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the Alpendorf gondola is right next door, waiting to take you up to the beautiful Gernkogel peakand the Geisterberg Adventure Mountain.
Hiking bus "Herbie"
Herbie is our hiking shuttle. He takes us to various starting points for particularly beautiful hikes in Salzburger Land every week throughout the summer and autumn. Of course, he also picks us up again. If Herbie doesn't have time, our hiking guide Monika will accompany you on the most beautiful hiking trails. The tours range from easy to challenging, from circular hikes to summit tours - there's something for everyone. Tour descriptions included.Trailrunning
