In summer, the natural surroundings of Alpina become a playground for adventurers and explorers. It’s not just the extensive network of hiking trails, bike routes and walking paths that stretch across the region. It’s also the 1001 excursions and sporting opportunities that continue to amaze even us time and time again.
Active and adventure-loving families are especially well taken care of. Alongside our weekly activity programme for all ages – including picnic hikes, farm visits and relaxed e-bike tours – there’s plenty more to discover. The Ghost Mountain, an adventure playground at 1,800 metres, a large playground right in front of the hotel, and rafting on the Salzach River promise fun and action for every generation.

Planning a ski holiday with the whole family? Then you’ve come to the right place. Alpina’s location directly on the slopes of Snow Space Salzburg and right next to the gondola station gives you the freedom to end your family ski day either on skis or comfortably by gondola. This also makes our hotel an ideal choice for beginners. A family ski holiday could hardly be more relaxed. On top of that, our guests benefit from exclusive special rates on ski rental and the in-house ski school.
A special family highlight in winter: no morning rush!
Upon request, young skiers are picked up directly at the hotel by their ski instructor and brought back after an exciting day on the slopes. They are then welcomed in the Kids Club, where our caring team awaits them with a fun programme and a nourishing afternoon snack.
