Learning perfect skiing and snowboarding technique should, above all, be fun, not hard work. To ensure you can really enjoy your winter holiday, the Alpendorf Ski School offers a wide range of options for all ability levels, including group lessons and private coaching. Depending on what has been agreed, we’ll meet either directly at the hotel or at the gondola lift exit – which is located next to the hotel.
Ski hire
There are two ski hire shops right here at the Alpina! At both, our guests receive a 10% discount on all equipment.
Plus: if both parents hire ski equipment, their children up to the age of 10 receive ski equipment free of charge for the same period. Save yourself the hassle of carrying lots of luggage and waxing your skis at home, and take advantage of our convenient ski service at the hotel.
Snow Space Salzburg
It’s simple, hassle-free and worry-free. Queuing for the gondola or taking the ski bus is a thing of the past. Alpina’s guests can collect their ski passes directly from the hotel reception, and an unforgettable day’s skiing in Snow Space Salzburg can begin.
The three ski resorts of Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann – Alpendorf together form Snow Space Salzburg, the ski area at the heart of Ski amadé and Austria. Taken together, they offer 120 kilometres of snow-sure slopes and 45 cable cars, promising the highest quality and a wealth of variety. Together with the neighbouring ski areas of Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and the Zauchensee ski paradise, a total of almost 210 kilometres of slopes and 70 lifts are available.
Children's Ski School
The Alpendorf Children’s Ski School is specially designed to cater for children. Dedicated ski instructors gently introduce the youngest children to the secrets of skiing. Through play, the little ones learn the basic techniques of skiing, with fun and enjoyment always being the top priority.
The Alpendorf Ski School runs a children’s area with a conveyor belt right next to the top station of the gondola lift. As soon as the little ones are ready, they head to the T-bar lift and then on to the chairlift.
Children’s pick-up service – The Alpendorf Ski School collects the children from Alpina’s ski storage room at 9:00 am and returns them there after the lesson at around 3:00 pm. On request, your child can be taken directly to our Kids Club.
For all Alpina guests: 5% discount on all ski lessons. Children up to 6 years old ride all lifts for free.
