Sankt Johann lies directly on the 180 km long Tauern Cycle Path.
Here you can find easy, flat cycle paths along the Salzach, which are suitable for the entire family!

Don‘t be afraid of mountain bikes…..
Introductory course in biking and riding techniques – correct breaking, changing gears, approaching and climbing slopes, dealing with “difficult situations“ etc., all the way to negotiation simple ledges.

Monday - 9:30 or 1:00 - young radicals for kids & teens – BASIC
Riding techniques learned playfully, everything that’s fun – and safe!
Length: ca. 2 hrs

Tuesday 9:30- your perfect day
* 1 full day of action & fun for everyone from 8 to 88 years old!
* Individual adjustment of mountain bikes at the [better:bike] shop
* Ride on the cable car to the mountain station “Obergass Alm“ at 1,600 m above sea level –
afterwards an introduction to mountain biking techniques- including correct gear changing, breaking, and safe riding “over hill and dale“.
* “Relaxing” ride to Ghost Mountain – ca. 200 m vertical meters,
then a rapid, but safe downhill to the Kreisten Alm,
1,250 vm.
Here, you can expect a tasty “biker’s lunch“ (small lunch including drink).
* Then, your marksmanship will be tested with some paintball target shooting. Afterwards, we continue on to Alpendorf where, by the time we arrive, our transport to “ Whitewater RAFTING“ will already be waiting.
After a refreshing “dance on the waves“ and - if desired – a subsequent
sauna session, we will return exhausted but happy to Alpendorf.
No specific fitness level is necessary. A little sense of adventure and you’re off to your perfect day!

Depending on group size & ability, easy to intermediate “land, people and mountains“ tour.

Depending on group size & ability, intermediate to advanced “summiteer“ tour. Precise information about the various tours can be obtained at the [better:bike] shop.

Mountain & Bike Combo Ticket – ride up on the lift, then back down into the valley by mountain bike

Helmet is an absolute must: Safety – fun and sports
Rafting possible for everyone, ages 8 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult
- 10 % discount for all Alpendorf-Card holders (except for “your perfect day“)
Price reduction with your own mountain bike.
Minimum total no. of participants: 3 people (extra charge for less than 3)
All tours can be arranged for other days, whenever possible, for 3 people or more. Participation is at your own risk.
